Clean Eatz

My day off has been busy but productive. I slept in until 8 which was marvelous! We got up and went straight to the vet to get Grady updated on some vaccinations and then over to Petco for grooming appointments. The Fitness Pups are going to be looking good for our trip to Kentucky on Thursday. After I dropped them off, I took my car to Walmart and was pumped to be first in line for an oil change! Then it was gym time!

I completed 40 minutes on the treadmill followed by a chest/shoulders/tricep workout. I definitely worked up an appetite and still have some errands to run so I walked across the street to this little cafe called Clean Eatz. 

Tofu on the menu? Sold. Not only that, but they have a calorie count next to each meal on the menu. 

I ordered a quinoa bowl with spinach, broccoli, black beans, tofu and low calorie sweet and sour sauce. It was pretty good and I will definitely recreate this dish at home!  

They also sell clothes and some protein supplements which I thought was pretty neat. I loved the back of this shirt...

I always get "hangry" when I go too long without food! They also decorated the walls with motivational quotes which were fun to read while I waited for my food.

Even the tables were fitness-minded!

Pretty fun little spot, and I certainly love how conscious they are of healthy eating.

Now I'm off to get a car inspection so I can pay some lovely annual car tax now that I am an official North Carolina resident. Oh, the joys of being a grown-up! After that, I plan to do a little cleaning while the kids are at the groomer, pack for KY and start some food prep for my trip that includes making some homemade hummus in my vitamix!
