My Story

In high school, although my focus on fitness was primarily due to my interest and commitment to playing collegiate softball, I was presented with one of the best honors I have ever achieved. Each year, the PE staff would nominate one female and one male to be chosen as the Fitness King and Queen. I worked hard every single year, through summers and early mornings and was so honored when I was passed down the crown.

In college, my softball career was still my main focus, but something inside me grew to hungrily encompass the entire realm of fitness and nutrition and everything it had to offer. Being a natural athlete, and built to lift- strength training came naturally to me. It was something I was great at, and have always truly enjoyed. When I was honored with the NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete award my senior year, I cried.

Now, fresh out of college and making a living working in the fitness industry, I still am so eager to continue to learn and grow. I firmly stand behind the saying that, "Every single healthy choice, matters." -even the tiniest one makes a difference. I am also a huge fan of the compassionate lifestyle and believe animals are such precious beings that should be absolutely cherished. Vegetarianism isn't for everyone, and I certainly don't try to push it upon people, but it is absolutely 100% for me. I'm still learning a lot about it but I feel a huge sense of value and relief knowing that I am responsible for helping these little furry creatures I love so much.

This is my personal journey to my very best, most compassionate and fit self. :) I think almost nothing would be sweeter than to know that people remembered me as someone who inspired them, and someone worthy of being referred to as, "The Fitness Queen."
