Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie

Good afternoon! It's currently 89 degrees here in beautiful Wilmington, Aqua class at 3pm is going to be a scorcher. Hopefully everyone will come hop in the deep end to get their fitness on and cool off. Afterward, you can enjoy a super yummy, protein smoothie! I get on such a smoothie kick in the summer, which is great because it is a fantastic way to get your fruits and some protein all in one glass. I'm sure you will be seeing a lot of smoothie recipes over the next few months.



The recipe posted above is not vegan, however notice there are vegan substitutions at the bottom.

I've been kinda everywhere with my workouts since I teach so many classes, and try to work around them body-part wise. Some classes are very physically demanding such as Sculpt because I have to demo every move, versus Aqua Class where typically I teach from the Pool deck. Yesterday Zach and I did biceps and triceps and I am definitely feeling it. So today, I put together a quick little leg routine that's sure to get my heart rate up and my legs burnin'!
