Super Fast Ab Circuit

Brrrr! Is it cold where you are this morning? It's quite windy here which is making for quite the chilly Friday. I have been blamed all morning for bringing back the cold with me from Omaha to Wilmington. It might be cold out today, but hey, it's still FRIDAY!

This morning's workout focused on cardio and abs and it was a sweaty one! I warmed up on the elliptical for ten minutes and then completed 25 minutes on the treadmill that looked like this:

Run 1 mile
[45 second sprint/1:15 walk] Repeat for 6 sets total
3 minute walking cool down


Then I got in a quick ab circuit as shown below and completed my hour workout with 5 minutes on the bike. 


Breakfast was a repeat of yesterday's post workout meal- a multigrain bagel, vegan cream cheese and some tofurky for a powerful protein punch. Plus iced green tea. 


Today should be a pretty fast day. My morning is filled with teaching class for two hours, followed by a nutrition consultation at 10:30. The rest of my work day will be spent completing office work and mingling with all the new members tackling their 2014 goals! Here's to hoping that all of our New Years resolution-ers will continue coming in, as we have a seen a huge increase in Fitness Center usage this week which is fantastic!
