There's a present under your tree this year, it cannot be seen but felt by the heart. Imagine it as a small box and it is so great and so precious that you should protect it and keep it close.
This gift is waiting for all of us. Many people will never notice this gift. Others, will take this gift, unwrap it, and realizing it's value close it back up and tuck it away for safe keeping.
In my walk with God, I am finding there are some of us who live and breathe the Word in our daily lives and some believers who like to keep God in a box. Instead of constantly searching for every way He can be apart of our lives, we accept that He's there and then hide him away in a safe spot. Faith becomes a habit instead of relationship.
He is so much bigger than that! Believers get so caught up in believing right and wrong based on what they interpret from the bible and/or accepting things as they have been taught or raised to believe. Life, and a Godly one at that, is not always black and white. Everyone has their own journey and walk with Christ, and it's a journey every believer must take, on their own.
One thing that I am learning in my personal walk with God is that Faith, and trusting in God is about loving people and learning to see every person the way God sees them. It is not our job to judge or condemn, but we should leave that in the hands of our Creator. Every person is God's, not ours, and His direction for us is ALWAYS the best one.
Accept this gloriously wrapped present this Christmas, and then let Him out through love and graciousness for others!
Love others and THAT, my friends, is doing the will of The Lord.
Merry Christmas Eve!
