1. Hair Accessories
Think headbands, hair ties and/or hats for guys especially, but some girls like to work out in hats too!
2. Other Workout Essentials
Other things an avid gym goer likes to have on hand- chapstick, water bottles and socks. Those small antibacterial hand gels, mini deodorants and cleansing facial wipes would be awesome as well!
3. Books/Magazines
Slip in a subscription to their favorite Health magazine, or get them that new vegan recipe book they have been eyeballing. A lot of fitties like to read while they do cardio so find out what kind of literature they are into and go from there! Along the same lines, a workout/dietary journal would be a great gift for the organized, type A fittie who likes to write everything down.
4. Protein Bars
No-brainer! What fittie doesn't like protein? If you don't know their favorite kind, throw a bunch of different brands/flavors in. These days, there are protein bars for every type of diet so this is a great thing to fill up the empty space in your stocking. Wrap each one separately to give them more stuff to open and lengthen the enjoyment of opening presents!
5. Other Supplements
Health stores like GNC, Vitamin World and Vitamin Shoppe always have single serving packs of protein or preworkout powders. They are cheaper and a great way to try out a supplement before committing to buying the pricier full tubs for something they may not end up liking. Vitamins are another great idea if you know what type of multivitamin or other minerals they take or need.
6. Food
Duh! What is the one thing Fitties like more than working out? EATING! Try small packages of dried fruit like boxes of craisins, chocolate covered fruit, almonds and other mixed nuts, PB2, chia seeds, homemade protein bars, sunflower seeds, energy drinks, gum, fruit leathers, tea, flavored coffees etc. Anything that comes in a small version is perfect!
7. Music
Headphones are definitely a must and for those who don't invest in a really nice pair, you know the struggles of the cute, $15.00 headphones. They typically last about a month and then one ear goes out or we leave them lying around somewhere and they are gone. Depending on how much you want to spend, you can get headphones for anywhere from $5.00 at a place like TJMaxx or Marshalls, up to $150 at Best Buy. Another idea, iTunes cards! Let your favorite fittie pick out some music for their workout playlist to get pumped up to!
8. Cooking/Kitchen Supplies
Measuring cups and spoons, hand towels, spatulas, coffee cups and other small items to help prepare healthy meals is a great way to spoil them.
9. Gift Cards or Certificates
Gift cards to their favorite restaurant or athletic apparel store are easy ways to throw in an extra something specifically if your recipient is a bit picky. Some other fun ideas are a gift certificate for personal training sessions or group exercise classes at their gym, a month of yoga classes or a deep tissue massage to work out those sore muscles.

Question of the Day:
What is the best health related gift/stocking stuffer you ever received? Do you have a really good idea for a stocking stuffer this Christmas?
