DIY Watermelon Slushie

If you like watermelon, you are going to love this summer treat I fixed up! One of our followers, DebbieLouise, mentioned a fantastic idea about watermelon smoothies that I just had to try. All you need is a watermelon, ice, a knife and a blender.



1. Cut up your watermelon into bite sized pieces.



2. Put into a blender. Blend until smooth.


3. Add ice. Blend again until smooth.



4. Enjoy!



How simple is that? The best part about it, is it tastes great, is low in calories and is a great source of vitamins/minerals. Watermelon is also one of the fruits with the highest water content so this is perfect to cool down and help you stay hydrated in the hot summer!
