Garmin Forerunner

Good morning my fit friends, I have great news... I am officially a new member of the Cape Fear Cyclists!

It costs $10 for the entire year to be apart of this club. They do daily rides, bike tours and other special events throughout the year. I am really hoping to have my bike and everything in time for the Sunday morning ride. I'm nervous but definitely excited! I'll keep you guys posted on that.

Now lets catch up...

Yesterday morning after taking the Fitness Pups to the groomer, I had a dentist appointment, yay! NOT! After that I went home and made "Ham" Sandwiches and Homemade Vegan Mayo. I had a really enjoyable walk around Greenfield Lake.

The walk is 4.5miles around and took me just under 90 minutes to complete. According to my Garmin Forerunner, I burnt about 400 calories which was great!

The watch has a gps set up in it and records workouts including HR, distance, time, calories burnt and so much more I can't even handle it all. It is one of my favorite gifts I have ever received. If you are a serious outdoor runner, this is a great tool to use for running long distances so that you are able to track your mileage. Although I wouldn't call myself a "serious" runner, I love the watch because I can turn it on without the satellites when I am indoors working out and track my calorie burn. The guy that got me this- he's a KEEPER!

It's hard to look into the camera when you're taking the picture!

After my walk, I made Watermelon Slushies and laid out by the pool and read. Enjoyable day off. :)

Back to today..
Lunch today is a super yummy salad with a bunch of mixed vegetables and garbanzo beans for some added protein and extra virgin olive oil.

Getting ready to go to Workout B of Tina Reale's Best Body Bootcamp at the gym! Catch you guys this afternoon.

Do you use any fun training devices to track your intensity, calories etc?
