Lunch and a Workout

Good afternoon fitties! Hope everyone enjoyed the first half of their week as much as I did. I spent my day off yesterday at the pool reading, followed by dinner with Zachary. It was really nice and relaxing and I finally got a chance to get some sun, so I was a happy camper.

For lunch I am currently enjoying a delicious salad made here at the Porters Neck Country Club Restaurant.

In the salad:

  • Mixed greens
  • Green beans
  • Black Olives
  • Red and Yellow Peppers
  • Lemon Vinaigrette dressing
The salad also usually comes with egg and potatoes but I opted out of those to keep it vegan and low calorie. The lemon dressing is sooooo good and vegan. The menu also suggests adding a serving of tuna, I'm sure that'd be really yummy. On the side I have a cup of freshly picked blueberries that one of our sweet members brought in this morning. Don't I have the best job ever?

For some reason that day off yesterday really wore me out, so I slept in a little later than usual this morning and missed my own workout. I'm planning on going this evening after work. I did abs and lower back with the Core and Restore class here this morning so I'm going to do total body minus the core. Here's my strength training plan:

I will also probably do about 30-40 minutes of cardio split between either the bike and stairmaster or treadmill (walk/jog intervals). Have a great afternoon, see ya later!

Do you like to do full body workouts? Or do you workout 1-2 body parts per day?

  1. lovin' your blog. I do upper body Mondays and Wednesdays and lower body Tuesday and Thursdays. cardio everyday except some Sundays when I take that day off to rest. although I often bike or walk with this handsome man I live with on Sundays as the weather allows.
