Celebrating Daddy

To all the dad's out there, thank you for what you guys do for us kids. I am grateful for each year I get to celebrate Father's Day with my dad, even though he's all the way in Nebraska and I'm here in Wilmington. All I know is that if I didn't have my dad, my life would be a very different one.

My dad never wants anything for his birthday, Christmas or Fathers Day. My parents have been blessed and pretty much have everything they really need. So this year, I decided to make something for my dad rather than buy something...

25 Life Lessons We Learned From our Dad

Using my own ideas plus some of my mom's help and input from my brother we came up with 25 things we learned from my daddy. I created a little card for each one and decorated it and put each one in an individual envelope so he can take his time and open them daily or as he feels like it. I don't want to give the quotes away (my dad reads the blog) but here's a shot of how the cards turned out...

Some are funny and some are more serious things he has taught us. I think he will enjoy them. Happy Fathers Day Daddy. I miss you- especially on days like today. Love you so much!
