Post Run Chili

Hello fit friends! I hope you are enjoying your Friday.
 
I have been enjoying time with family, watching football and eating lots of yummy food!

I was really excited about my run today. I have my last run with walking intervals in it. It was a mile and a half running and two minutes walking repeated three times. I was 3 minutes shorter than Wednesday's run which was the exact same length. My heart rate has also decreased significantly. What makes it even better is the fact that in Wilmington, everywhere I run is basically flat. The neighborhood around my parents home in Omaha is very hilly. It was a tough one but I felt fast and strong.

Right when I walked back in the door, my mom had made me some vegan chili which was the perfect post workout meal. Amy's Chili with Tostitos Artisan Roasted Garlic and Black Bean chips.


 


The chili is 240 calories for a cup, (there are two cups in a can), 12g of protein per serving and is microwavable. Doesn't get much easier than that!
