Some shows I'm currently into:
My dad is a retired Police Chief so I guess maybe my interest in crime must be genetic...
I got some good sleep Saturday evening and woke up at 7 am Sunday morning ready for the Sunday ride! I felt really great all ride. Starting at Greenfield Lake, we made our way downtown and to the Wilmington Airport. From there, we cycled through the intercity trail that takes you through UNCW's campus and out to Mayfaire to our usual breakfast stop at Panera.
I had my usual- a whole grain bagel with peanut butter and berry hibiscus unsweetened tea. I like to add lemons to it to make it sweeter without adding a ton of calories. I swear, I think about this tea the entire way there. We rode 19 miles to Panera and another 15 back, completing just under 35 miles.
After my ride I took the Fitness Pups over to the Bark Park and let them run around while I refueled with a lot of water and an apple. I had made plans to meet a friend for lunch so I didn't want to spoil my meal! After the park I went to the pool for about an hour and half to cool off from the morning ride and work on my book. Around 1:00 it was time to shower up and head out to meet Molly at one of my personal favorites- Flaming Amy's. It was packed!
Flaming Amy's is great because their food is delicious and they have a ton of vegetarian/vegan options. Any place that offers tofu, tempeh and vegan cheese are usually winners in my book. I got the "Big Jerk" Burrito without sour cream. It had jerk tofu, black beans, vegan cheese, rice, pineapple salsa and veggies. After that bike ride, I easily finished the whole thing! Great post workout meal.
Molly is easily my best friend (besides Zachary of course!) in Wilmington and I always have fun when I'm hanging out with her! After lunch I went back into relax mode for the rest of the night!
Hope you have a wonderful Monday morning!
